Ideal targets demonstrate both organic and acquisitive growth paths and provide a robust foundation on which to grow a substantial business through product or service expansion, bolt-on acquisitions, industry consolidation and geographic expansion.
STRATEGIC INVESTMENT
As a proprietary, on balance sheet investor, Finisterre is a long-term investor which takes an active role in its investee companies, supporting and partnering with management to develop strategies for ongoing growth and the creation of long-term value.
ENTERPRICE VALUE BETWEEN £10 AND £30 MILLION
We target companies with an enterprise value of between £10m and £30 million. We are commercially minded with the ability and flexibility to consider most types of transactions, structures and situations.
UK CENTRIC FOCUS
We focus on investing alongside exceptional UK small to mid market companies currently pursuing a UK domestic or a pan-European investment strategy.

AVRON EPSTEIN
Avron served as the CEO of Investec Private Bank and was a member of the Bank’s executive team.
He is an accomplished business leader with extensive investment experience having established Investec’s acquisition finance business and led the corporate lending division, completing numerous leveraged buy outs across multiple sectors.
Martin is the founder and CEO of the Westbrooke Group.
Martin serves as Chairman and Non-Executive Director of Westbrooke's Investment subsidiaries and associates.
RICHARD ASHERSON
Richard serves as the CEO of Westbrooke Alternative Asset Management UK and is a member of the Group's executive team.
Prior to Westbrooke, Richard was a consultant in the Structured and Acquisition Finance Team at Investec Bank Limited.
SHAREHOLDERS
Founded in 2004, Westbrooke invests for its clients, partners, management and shareholders, managing significant shareholder and 3rd party investor capital across the spectrum of private equity, listed equity, real-estate and credit, with offices in London and Johannesburg.
Westbrooke is owned by the Capricorn Capital Group, Capwest Limited and management.The Capricorn Capital Group is a leading alternative asset manager with a focus on private equity and hedge funds. It is an associate of the Yellowwoods Group, an international investment and insurance group which owns various industry leading insurance companies in the UK, Europe, Australia and South Africa and food and leisure assets including Clientèle, Direct Axis, Budget Group and Nandos.
